Speed of Nature
Why is man ever trying to go so fast? When will man learn to slow down and function with nature and the world he lives in as he ought? Look at nature and the natural surroundings. It is slow and steady and without stress. Everything in the world of nature takes time. A path is set and as the clock ticks, it all proceeds as it ought. The sun comes up over the horizon every twenty four hours. The trees blossom in the spring and grow their leaves and then drop them in the fall. It all takes time. The birds make their nest and raise their young all at just the right time of the year and just in the time frame that they need to do so. The seeds we plant for food go through the natural process of sprouting and growing and then producing their fruit. Time is available for everything to follow its natural process. When will man learn that he too can follow a natural process and rest from the hustle and bustle that produces stress that kills him because he violates and perverts the natural process that was made for him to follow? You see, nature follows the process that was set before it. It follows the time frame set before it. Before nature and all that we see existed, a frame work with time was established to guide and keep all things as they were meant to be yet man persists in working against time and the nature of it all. He persists in rushing about and fails to study the matters of the most importance so as to live in accordance with his Maker and the guidelines He has set for the good of all. Is it any wonder everything is getting chaotic and crazy if for no other reason than man's own foolish rushing around when he could hold steady and work at a reasonable pace and thus enjoy all that was set before him? Can we not see the speed of nature and all of the natural surroundings hold steady and work at a reasonable pace unyielding to man's crazy schedule? Can we not learn from all that is around us and set before us that time is of little essence? Can we not see that peace and goodwill are the great attributes of the Creator to reveal love and hope for the future? Why do we not see the speed of nature is slow and steady? It holds its course ever unfailing. It works moment by moment ever giving its good to man and neither asking for or receiving anything in return. Is this not a most magnificent example of love to mankind? Oh, if only we should see the greatness and find appreciation in the speed of nature! If we would, perhaps we could slow down and find rest in our Creator and then perhaps we would live as we ought and find life that was created and set before us today and for tomorrow and eternally. Study the speed of nature. It will do you good!
