"And Then There Was Violence"
In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth. In the beginning all things were at peace because all things were perfect yet in time a seed was sown and then there was violence. The first violent act that is recorded in history is where Cain killed Abel and then there was violence. You see, in the Universe, everything had a beginning which was the seed that would grow after its own kind because everything can only produce after its own kind as corn grows corn and not wheat just as hate grows hate and not love. When a seed is developed and sown, it will grow to unprecedented proportions if it is fed, cultivated and watered and then there was violence. Violence is being fed, cultivated and watered daily and moment by moment and is growing into a monster that cannot be stopped so long as it is continually fed, cultivated and watered. Shall violence not escalate to bring an end to mankind? Today as always, people accept the present as the norm when it really is an oddity that should not exist. Violence has been accepted as the norm when it really should not exist. Common sense tells us that love should be the norm so all could exist. As violence continues and escalates, it is inevitable it will bring man to his own end through destruction. Even history proves this very issue by example. Just before the time of the great flood that covered the whole Earth and mankind was destroyed except for the few who were righteous in God"s eyes, it is stated in the book of Genesis, "And violence filled the whole Earth." It was violence that brought an end to mankind and was an example to those of the future. In this matter, I am not saying or even hinting that God will flood the whole Earth again or anything of that sort. I am simply saying mankind will destroy himself if he continues as he is. Even if there was no record of this event as the great flood, it only takes common sense to realize peace produces an ongoing existence while violence does all it can do to destroy even its very existence. It is inevitable because just as before, violence is slowly filling the whole Earth and if any are left they too will say, "and then there was violence." Violence always brings things to their own end and that end is destruction because violence can do nothing to construct or preserve itself but only destruct and destroy itself and then there was violence! You see, it is Love that will keep us and not hate. It is Peace that will preserve us and not violence. Is it any wonder that we were instructed to love each other and even to love our enemies? It is Love that will preserve us! This is the norm that has been forgotten while violence has been embraced to be the norm while it is the oddity that should not exist lest we are all destroyed. God help us!
